Auto Attendant
Automated call distribution via AutoAttendant
The OpenMessaging’s AutoAttendant automatically answers and distributes calls for you. Callers press buttons on their telephone to navigate their way through a voice-guided menu. This takes the pressure off your back-office employees and makes your communications processes more effective.
Up to 15 different announcements can be recorded for permanent routines, for the use of voicemail after office hours, at weekends, on public holidays and during annual company holidays. Internal search systems coupled with voicemail functions can be integrated into call distribution. The system then offers to find the desired employee. If the employee in question cannot be contacted in the building, the caller can be forwarded to an alternative destination, e.g. a mobile phone. If this incurs additional costs for the caller, an announcement to this effect can be played back automatically.
You can also opt for various standard texts which you can use for fixed processes. You can choose between two different standard texts to announce that a number is free or busy and from four additional texts to inform callers that they can select an alternative destination. If the desired contact is not available, you can also define a text that offers to record a voicemail from the caller.
Communications management via the AutoAttendant can also be used for automatic ordering systems (e.g. ticket service) or for information systems (municipalities, the public authorities, associations).
